Alejandro Botellos Arbeit ist das unverfälschte Gefühl und Bedürfnis
nach lebendigem Ausdruck. Die Malerei ist für ihn das ideale Medium
den Prozess unbewusst automatisierend in Bewegung zu setzen.
Der extreme Grad an Empfindungen gipfelt bisweilen in
impressionistischen als auch geometrischen Tendenzen, die von
organischer oder künstlicher Struktur sein können.
Eine visuelle Textur, die von der Umgebung beeinflusst ist, wie Fassaden
und nackte Mauern, sich verändernd durch Luftfeuchtigkeit und
Klimaeinflüsse. Mikro- und Makrokosmos - idealisiert und transformiert
in eine eigene Ordnung. Die Art und Weise, wie die Arbeit ausgeführt wird,
ist von kraftvoller Entschlossenheit.
Sie hat den Anspruch das Gefühl freizusetzen. Diese Faktoren vereinen sich
und lassen eine Metamorphose entstehen. Die Modifikation der Bewegung
und die daraus entstandene Logik rücken in den Hintergrund, alles ist neu
und anders. In die Grundideen mischen sich Erinnerungen und
Sinneseindrücke, die ständig kommen und gehen. Die Umwandlung
ist eine nicht endend wollende Herausforderung. Sie wird zu einem
einzigen Block, der in einem unablässigen Prozess immer mehr in den
Hintergrund tritt und mit der Textur und Farbe verschmilzt.
Der Betrachter erfährt die visuelle Löschung des Gewesenen.
Er wird zum Protagonisten und Teil der künstlerischen Arbeit.
Er kann eine indirekte Melodie im Bild lesen, den ursprünglichen Weg
verlassend, der unendlichen, zeitlosen Spielraum zulässt.
So entsteht ein weiterer Fokus auf das Leben.
I am an abstract geometric and minimal artist - in my own words:
no sophistication, no shenanigans of incomprehension.
My work is defined as the feeling and need for vivid expression.
Painting is the ideal medium, with an abstract tendency
sometimes impressionistic or geometric,
which has led to an extreme degree of sensations and innuendos, organic and artificial.
In the raw experiences, sudden and prolonged, my thoughts are accompanied by anxiety,
loneliness and hesitant advances, before opening to changing moments
and states of mood in the endless minutes of a day or a beautiful eternal night.
The will does not cease, nor disappear.
My work emerges as a claim, the sentiment looking for output.
The change and the reasoning are superimposed on the past, everything is
new and different. So, I'm giving the first encountered mixture of ideas
about mechanisms and memories that come and go constantly.
Working the idea becomes a challenge that never ends.
Since it is only a block that I leave behind in this relentless process, the pictorial work
becomes part of the thinking past. Idealized mental structure that emerged yesterday,
takes shape today and is a reflection cone of that time, transformed into texture and
color.
Living in a future distant or near, the viewer receives the visual discharge.
I leave an emotional record that is timeless and infinite. However,
day after day, night after night, everything grows and becomes a way of life.
A different focal point, another way of seeing life.
